The prominent climate in Ethiopia is tropical monsoon with wide-topographic variation.

Seasonality-
In Addis Ababa, Ethiopia the annual range of temperature is 3 degrees(c). The annual range of precipitation is 271 (mm).
In Metehara, Ethiopia the annual range of temperature is 6 degrees (c). The annual range of precipitation is 148 (mm).
Compared to Denver, the temperature range is much smaller in these two Ethiopian cities. Denver has an annual range of 22 degrees (c), whereas the two cities in Ethiopia has a range average of 4.5 degrees (c).
The annual precipitation range is the basically opposite between Denver and these two cities. Denver has a small precipitation range (only 36mm), whereas the annual precipitation range in the Ethiopian cities is much wider ( average of 209.5mm).
